Waf. was tasked with producing the Meta Marketing Summit EMEA 2023 for the fourth consecutive year, this time in a virtual format. Our concept, "Center of Connection," highlighted Meta's role as a central hub for business growth and adaptability. We incorporated curved, fluid shapes in the stage structures and used large sweeping screens to display Meta's colours and gradients. Warm materials like maple plywood, metal accents, neutral grey felt, and anodized metal brought the Meta blue into the space, creating an inviting and dynamic virtual environment.
On the event day, over 12,000 guests tuned in to watch 150 minutes of content streamed via a custom-designed virtual stage. Attendees interacted with each other and speakers through an embedded chat box. We designed motion graphics, including a dynamic countdown, lower thirds, transitions, stings, interstitials, and pre-event social ads to drive registrations. Guests praised the event for its inspiring content and innovative design, with feedback highlighting the motivational insights shared by speakers and the impressive virtual stage setup. The event was hailed as one of the best virtual experiences, leaving attendees inspired and eager to implement new strategies in their future marketing campaigns.
